Lowell began her acting career when she played the role in Dangerously Close. She then was a minor character in the Robin Williams film Club Paradise. The actress went on to roles that included co-starring in the role of Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond film Licence to Kill (1989) and, beginning in 1996, as assistant district attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons in the drama television series Law & Order, a character she reprised in 2005 to play a guest character in the spinoff series, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and also on the original series in 2022 when it returned for the 21st season. Six years ago, she was frustrated by her acting career, and sought out New York University to study documentary filmmaking. [4] In the latter half of 2000 she had a break from acting. Lowell was able to lend her voice and look to Lowell and reprised her Licence to Kill character in 007 Legends. In 2018, she made her return to TV, appearing as a guest on the TV show Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. John Stember, a fashion photographer with whom she was first married she was her third marriage partner. [9][10] The couple were married from 1989 to 1995 with actor Griffin Dunne and they have one daughter, Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell married Richard Gere [11] in November 2002 following the birth their son Homer James Jigme Gere was born in February 2000. After 11 years of marriage, the couple separated in September 2013. The couple were involved in a controversial divorce proceeding at the New York Supreme Court for three years.
