Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor, director, producer, educator, playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is daughter of a Briton and a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. She appeared in many commercials as a young child. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order for the purpose of pursuing her acting. The decade following, she moved to Los Angeles.
