Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for many years. Elson was born in the United States and began her acting career as a young model/actress and then as professional actress, is famous for her portrayal as Alice Tyler as seen on the science-fiction drama show on CBS. Andrea auditioned to play the lead in ALF, the 1986 hit show. The show won her. Andrea was a part of a variety of successful TV shows, as well as Movies of the Weekly for numerous years after which she resigned from the world of entertainment to spend time with her family. ALF was a difficult period to Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. People magazine released a retrospective of Elson's career in 2000. Elson commented that being a teenager who was in the limelight wasn't simple. Elson, who was green eyed New York City native grew in her travels due to the job in advertising that her father was employed in. By the time she was 10-years-old, Andrea had already been to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was in San Diego when she met an agent. The part she auditioned for was awarded. Fusco explained that ALF was 285-years-old and was able to drink beer. NBC warned Fusco to prevent ALF from drinking in the presence of children as it would be a bad model. Fusco believes that ALF had the maturity to drive drunk, was mistaken. In 1995, he was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was successfully treated, and the cancer remained in remission up until 2019. The disease was fatal on 26 June 2019, when he had been 75 years old. He died at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
