Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and performer most well-known for her role as host of The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. Sheryl was a part of her childhood helping her younger sister Frankie, who had polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl had many problems with her mother. Sheryl asserts that, for instance when her mother stabbed her father when he became too intimate with her. Sheryl joined up the military soon after she graduated her college. However her interest lay in comedy. She became the first female finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She began her TV career when she was frequently performing on the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. In 2000, she was host of the television talk show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. She's also appeared in fictional show like Bulworth Niki and Beauty Shop.
