Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay's birthplace was Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn MacKay was born into the Mormon Church's founding family, utilised her amazing abilities as a writer and her formidable abilities to research in order to write the psycho-historical biographies of Joseph Smith. The book called"No Man is a Master of My History was published in 1945. That title was taken from a funeral sermon given by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled the congregation with his words: You don't know me you never knew my heart. My story is not known to anyone. It is not possible for me to reveal it. Fawn (29 years old) said that, since her moment of candor Three hundred writers have responded to the occasion. Some have rebuked him, while some have praised. A few have even made an assessment. It's not that documents are missing, it's the fact that they're contradictory. It's a daunting job to find these records by separating the first-hand versions from third-hand copies and fitting Mormon stories with other ones to form a cohesive collage. It is both interesting and instructive. This is the kind of task to which Fawn Brodie devoted herself professionally. Her research and writing made her immortalized with worldwide fame. Thaddeus Stevens. Scourge of the South (1959) The Devil Drives. The Life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate historical account (1974), posthumous.
